Why do I need to register with the site?

In order to post an advert on the site you must register. By registering you create an account with us and can easily place advertisments. It also allows you to log back into the site and modify, renew or delete your advert. You can register by clicking here. Once you have registered you will be able to log in to your account using the login name and password you chose. You will also receive an email, which will contain your login information.

How do I place an advertisement?

To place an ad you must first register. Once you have registered and logged into your account, you will see 'Place an Ad' in the side menu to the left. Click on this link and then select the category you want your advertisment to be displayed in. You will then be able to select a listing package and give the details of your advertisement. If you require payment for your ad, you will be forwarded to our paypal or Nochex pay page (depending on which you choose). You do not need to have a paypal account to pay using paypal.

How do I pay?

If ads require a payment you can pay using PayPal, a reputable secure online payment provider. Your bank or credit card statement will show that you made the payment to HorseSharesUk (pay@horsesharesuk.com). A Paypal account is not required to pay using Paypal and most credit cards are accepted.

What do the optional extras mean?

There are 3 optional extras available:

Featured: Advertisements appear in our featured sections (one is on the homepage) and have a highlighted background in searches. Cost- £2.00
Bold: Advertisement's title, county and country appear in a bold font in searches. Cost- £0.75
Highlighted: Advertisements have a highlighted background in searches. Cost- £1.00

When will my ad appear on the site?

We aim to publish adverts within 3-5 working days. Where payment is due, this means 3-5 working days after the payment has been received. However, in most cases adverts are published withing 24 hours. Adverts do not go straight onto the website so the content can first be reviewed and also to stop any spam being posted on the site.

How do I edit my advert?

To edit your advert, first log into your account and then choose 'Modify An Ad' from the left sidemenu.

How do I renew my advert?

Adverts are displayed on the site for a set number of days. 7 days prior to their expiration you will recieve an email notifying you that your advert about to expire. To renew your advert, first log into your account and then choose 'Modify An Ad' from the left sidemenu. You will then see an option to renew your advert.

How do I delete my advert?

To delete your advert, first log into your account and then choose 'Modify An Ad' from the left sidemenu. You will then see an option to delete your ad.
